While MakersBox was at the Annual Josh Talks event as an exhibitor, sharing with students, professionals and other visitors to the Thyagraj Stadium about how our philosophy of Inspire, Innovate and Invent. We also got to interact with awesome Start-Ups that are challenging the status quo and shaping technology for a better tomorrow.

Team Indus was by far the most intriguing one present and it was a delight to converse with Justin Alva, part of their Marketing & Outreach wing. Team Indus is based out of Bangalore and are an AeroSpace Tech Start-Up comprising over 85 engineers & nearly two dozen retired ISRO scientists. They are India’s only entry for Google Lunar XPrize: an unprecedented competition to challenge and inspire engineers and entrepreneurs from around the world to develop low-cost methods of robotic space exploration.

Click below to see the talk we had with Justin as he tells us about Indie, their Moon-Rover, how they are going launch their rocket in December 2017 collaborating with ISRO and their vision for all the makers and space enthusiasts out there!
